New Study – 3D-printed resins for provisional dental restorations: Comparison of mechanical and biological properties

The outstanding quality of CROWNTEC continues to be confirmed through current studies and measurements. The latest study from New York was conducted by experts from various universities. For permanent restorations, CROWNTEC clearly distinguishes itself in comparison to temporary 3D printing materials.

Extract from the study report
Contour plot showing “m” as an indicator of reliability (Weibull modulus) versus characteristic stress (n), which indicates the stress in which 63.2% of the specimens of each group may fail. The overlap between the groups indicate they are homogeneous.

The study, led by Pablo J. Atria DDS, MSci, MPhil, is available in the Wiley Online Library.
