Patients with allergies, what now?
Nowadays it can be clarified before a tooth restoration whether an allergy to one of the ingredients in a dental material exists.
The Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) of the manufacturer provide some initial information about the ingredients in dental materials. However, there remains some uncertainty because the declaration for medical products is not prescribed by law. It remains the responsibility of the manufacturer. Saremco declares all hazardous ingredients for patient well-being. You can find additional information about the use of MSDS in the enclosed information sheet.
If it is not known whether a patient will have an allergic reaction to one or more ingredients, a clarification by an allergist is necessary.
