This data protection declaration regulates the handling and protection of data of natural persons and their processing within the online offer of Saremco Dental AG. The information provided here refers to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) with simultaneous consideration of the Swiss Data Protection Act.

The security and protection of your personal data and while using our website is of great concern to Saremco Dental AG. Therefore, our website is equipped with SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize the encryption by the “https://” in the URL or the lock icon in front of it.  Here we inform you about which data is collected on www. saremco.ch and how it is used.

Material scope

This Data Protection Ordinance applies to the manual and fully or partially automated processing of personal data within Saremco Dental AG. Examples of such processing activities are:

  • Processing customer data for quotation and contract creation
  • Processing customer data for order fulfillment
  • Responding to contact requests and communicating with visitors

 

Collection of personal data when visiting our website

When you visit our website, we collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. This data includes:

  • Your IP address
  • Date and time of the request
  • Content of the request (concrete page)
  • Browser
  • Operating system and its interface
  • Language and version of the browser software

If you send us a contact form, then you provide us the following personal data:

  • Name and first name
  • E-mail address

If you make a purchase, then you provide us with the following personal data:

  • Company name
  • Name and first name
  • E-mail address
  • Invoice and delivery address

By entering your data in the online purchase process at www.saremco.ch, you agree that we may use the data you enter for service-related use. Mandatory data, necessary for the processing of contracts are marked separately, further data are voluntary.

We process the data provided by you to process your order. For this purpose, we may pass on your payment data to third parties that are relevant for the processing process. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 sec. 1 p. 1 lit. b GDPR.

 

Cookies

To provide you with a user-friendly website offer, we use so-called “cookies”. Cookies are pieces of information that your browser stores on your computer when you visit the website. For example, this information includes your preferred language. Order processing in the online shop

If you want to order in our online shop, it is necessary for you to provide personal data, which we need for processing your order. These are necessary for the conclusion of the contract and are marked accordingly. Any other information you provide us with is voluntary.

When processing your order, we may pass on your payment data to third parties that are relevant to the processing process. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 sec. 1 p. 1 lit. b GDPR.

To prevent unauthorized access by third parties to your personal data, in particular financial data, the ordering process in our online shop is secured with encryption.
To make your online shopping as pleasant as possible, we use session cookies for the storage of the shopping cart content and permanent cookies for the storage of the login status.

Your data will be stored in our customer file until you delete your customer account.

 

Contact

When contacting us (e.g.  via contact form, e-mail, telephone or Social Media), the user’s details are processed for the purpose of handling the contact request and its processing in accordance with Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. b) GDPR. Users’ information may be stored in a customer relationship management system or similar request organization.

 

Disclosure to third parties

In some cases, it is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract that we pass on your data to third parties (partners), for example to our logistics partners. This transfer is done in your interest. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR.

In such cases of order processing for us by third parties, there are order processing contracts between Saremco Dental AG and our partners (Art. 28 sec. 3 p. 1  GDPR). This ensures the protection of your data.

Furthermore, in special cases, we are legally obliged to pass on your data by official or court order.

 

Information, deletion and rectification

You can request information about your data stored by us at any time. For this purpose, we kindly ask you to contact our data protection officer by e-mail to info@saremco.ch.  To obtain information, we need an identity card to allow you to view the data we have collected.

You have the right to demand the deletion or correction of your data at any time. With regard to the deletion of data, it is important to note that we are subject to legal obligations, which require us to retain   certain data. We must comply with this obligation.

 

Newsletter

With your consent, you can subscribe to our newsletter, which we use to inform you about news.

We use the so-called double-opt-in procedure to subscribe to our newsletter. This means that after your registration, we will send you an e-mail to the specified e-mail address, in which we ask you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter.
In addition, we save your used language, place and times of registration and confirmation. The purpose of the procedure is to prove your registration and, if necessary, to clarify possible misuse of your personal data.

Your e-mail address is required for the registration of the newsletter via the form. The provision of further, separately marked data is voluntary and will be used to address you personally. After your confirmation, we will save your e-mail address for the purpose of sending the newsletter. The legal basis is Art. a GDPR.

You can easily unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, either by clicking on the link provided in each newsletter e-mail or by sending an e-mail to info@saremco.ch or by sending a message to the contact details given in the imprint.

We would like to point out that we evaluate your user behaviour when the newsletter is sent. With the data thus obtained, we create a user profile to tailor the newsletter to your individual interests. In doing so, we record when you read our newsletter, which links you click on and conclude your personal interests from it. You can object to this tracking at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The information will be stored as long as you have subscribed to the newsletter. After unsubscribing, the data remains stored anonymously and purely for statistical purposes.

We send newsletters with Mailchimp and use on this website features of the newsletter service Mailchimp of the company The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308 USA to record newsletter registrations.

We have signed a contract with Mailchimp for the Data Processing Addendum. This agreement is used to secure your personal data and ensures that Mailchimp complies with the applicable data protection regulations and does not share your personal information with third parties.

Use of social media plug-ins

We, Saremco Dental AG, use the following social media plug-ins on our website: Facebook and LinkedIn. You can recognize the provider of the plug-in by the marking on the box by its initial letter or logo. We offer you the possibility to communicate directly with the provider of the plug-in via the button.

We have no influence on the data collected data and data processing processes, nor are we aware of the full extent of the data collection, the purposes of the processing and the storage periods. We also do not have any information about the deletion of the collected data by the plug-in provider.

Through the plug-ins, we offer you the opportunity to interact with social networks and other users, so that we can improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for the use of the plug-ins is Art. 6 sec. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies. The collected information by the cookie (preferred language, internet browser, operating system used, IP address, etc.) is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, in the event that IP anonymization is activated on our website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before this happens.

Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if required to do so by law or if third parties process this data on Google’s behalf. Google reCAPTCHA

To protect our website from spam and misuse in the best possible way for you and us, we use the Google service reCAPTCHA. With reCAPTCHA we can detect whether our website is a human being or a robot or a spam software. The reCAPTCHA service asks you to identify yourself as a human being during certain processes. In most cases, you need to tick a box and confirm that you are not a robot.
